Back To The Middle

IMG_5651

It certainly has been a while for me. In the last couple months I kept thinking about things I wanted to blog about, but I couldn’t muster the motivation. This week I am going to STEP UP though and fill this thing with content. I’ve been really busy, but it’s a brilliant form of busy, and as a result, I want to talk about all the shit I’ve been doing. But I’ll start small.

Recently, I got my first DSLR. I’ve had an interest in photography FOREVER. But I couldn’t really ever afford to buy a camera or it wasn’t the right time. I was focusing on my design work, obviously, and I didn’t know how to use an SLR anyhow. But then, a friend of mine gave me his for practically nothing, right before I went to London in May (that’s for sure another blog post, hey that’s two!). I took a camera class on how to use the basic settings and this week I’ve been walking around my house and taking pictures. I’d rather not pay for more classes, so the best way to learn is to do, as is the case with a lot of life things.
